Old guy with a 76

Get it out of the garage! I just bought a 77 for a grand and I am in love with it. I don't have the landau top, and painted my monte flat black and threw a thrush welded exhaust on it. You have a true dime in that garage of yours I'll tell you that.

Welcome to the forum. I hate to see someone sell their first car after having owned it for that long. I wish I still had my first car. Actually in my case I had a few first cars. I lived in Vermont at the time. Vermonts state slogan should be home to the salted and rusted car. My first car was a 1965 VW Bug that was badly rusted and belonged in a junk yard. When I got it I didn't see all the rust or the faded paint or the smokey engine. So much for rose colored glasses. My second first car was a 1968 Ford Torino GT convertible. I didn't have my license yet and had it parked at work. Someone vandalized it and I didn't have the skills to fix it. My third first car was a 1970 Plymouth Duster. I actually had it registered and drove it once to put gas in it. I came back from the gas station and decided to put stereo speakers in the back package shelf. I climbed into the trunk and my foot fell thru it. First car number four was a 1967 Plymouth Fury III 4 door H.T.. I kept it for three years and I still miss it. I miss the Torino too.
