I much prefer the black, not a fan of red. It's impossible to keep it clean long enough to take any worthwhile pictures though. I should've taken some after I spent 5 hours cleaning and paste waxing it .

Bingo!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !! Paste wax is great and def old school but next time check out the ICE products from T.W. kinda pricy but no more than a top shelf wax. amazing stuff and really holds shine. will not build up over badges with white resedue. although you wouldn't have a problem like that with a BLACK Monte.....Just jabbing guys It's understood you have the more popular montes.....do give Ice a look over. I use ICE, but that's only when I don't have the time to do a real wax. To me the ICE is just a quick detailer and not really a substitute for the protection that wax gives.

Yeah when I clayed and waxed it I used a Meguiar's clay kit and Meguiar's Gold Class paste wax and it worked wonderfully. I'm not a big fan of liquid/spray wax aside from between-pasting details.

Well I finally scrounged up some pictures. My camera is of abysmal quality so they don't do it much justice, but it serves its purpose I suppose
