Default Noob from PA

Hi there. New to the forum, but have been a fan of Monte Carlos for some time. The wife and I dream of getting an 86-87 SS someday. Currently we are in the market for a fixer upper 98-99 Z34.
We love the 00+ SS but that's not in the budget at the moment.
I'm an Admin on a Bonneville forum so I am quite familiar with the 3800 as I have owned 2 myself, currently own a 98 Bonneville SE with a L36 with a ported lower manifold.

I'm good friends with some pretty knowledgeable gear heads so I not worried about a little work.

Anything special I need to know about those years or that may be unique to that platform?

Just up the road from you up in Erie.

I hear you guys got hit hard. I have a friend in Indiana and have seen some pics.

Just started looking really.

Looking for private seller who thinks their car is junk but realy just needs some TLC. Practically stole my Bonnie.

Any one know BillBoost37 frpom Connecticut? He's all over the 3800 related forums. He found us our Bonnie and between the car and parts I have less than $1500 into it and have had it almost 2 years and it runs great.

Thanks for the welcome and the compliments on the sig pic.

Looking to get on the road for around $1500.

I have around that into my Bonnie so I know it can be done.

Since this is a second car there's no huge rush.
