Default Noob here!

Yes, I'll admit it. I'm a noob when it comes to Monte Carlos. Seems like all the information that I have learned when in the Honda world is pretty much useless lol

Picked up my 2002 Monte Carlo last week. Love it. I hate to say it, but I already want to mod it. Anyone with any suggestions on what should be done first?

Welcome...

As Chibi asked...SS or LS?

If you want to mod, whether you have the 3.4L or the 3.8L, a cold air induction and exhaust is always a good palce to start...If you have the 3.8L, it only goes on from there...LOL

Welcome to the MCF family. And not EVERYTHING you learned about H***a's was worthless. A lot of the general principles apply, such as the more you spend, the less money you have! JK! Every car engine runs better when it can BREATHE better, and that rule ALWAYS applies. Remove the restrictions, air+gas=HP, etc.
Welcome.
