Hi there my name is Ed. I live outside of Denver and I've been reading your forum now for months, ever since I bought an 03 Monte Carlo SS. I am the second owner of this beautiful Bright White coupe. I got it with 74201 miles on it September of last year and since then nothing has gone untouched to make it my own. The first mod was to de-badge it, adding 5% tint all the way around at the same time. Then I added some black lace wheels I fell in love with, I kept it 16s for the cost and ride quality. Next up was the brakes, I did EBC rotors all 4 corners with EBC yellow stuff pads I got at a killer deal. Next came the stereo, I swapped in a Pioneer CD DVD NAV touchscreen with all new infinity speakers and a Rockford Fosgate 5 channel amp pushing an old school 12" Fosgate sub in a custom box, this thing sounds great, I even added a backup camera. With the stereo I did the big three cable upgrade with 4g wires and also did the high beam mod with new lights at the same time. I just finished the suspension upgrades with new KYB G2 loaded struts at all 4 corners, new FE4 trailing arms, new big front sway bar with poly bushings and links and the rear strut tower brace. Also done was the motor mount swap and short dog bones, MSD coil packs and wires, new plugs of course, K&n CAI and new flowmasters out back for better sound. Tomorrow it will get the high flow fuel filter and alt booster from ZZP that just arrived along with chrome oil cap. I'm seriously looking at a brake upgrade since I just saw that one of my front calipers is sticking. I'm thinking about doing 2006 impala calipers with hawk pads. As I understand it they are a complete bolt in, I wouldn't need any thing else not even a new banjo bolt, and no drilling and tapping. The part numbers I got showed that ZZP's kit is 06 impala/mc brackets with F body calipers. The impala calipers are $40 bucks cheaper, I know they weigh more but they don't spread like the F body one can though. And I would like to do a down pipe with PCM mod and maybe a cat back system. Some day a ground effects kit. I will add pics as soon as I figure out how to.

I installed 2002 Camaro calipers on my 2005 Monte Carlo SS Supercharged..
The top pad is the stock monte pad..
The bottom pad it the Camaro pad...
Monte is one piston caliper, Camaro is two piston caliper.
