Tell me some more about that 355. I have a 65 Chevelle SS with the need for a worthy engine.

It's a 1970 turbofire 350 bored .030 over, 4 blt main, forged pistons, dlb hump heads .195 ext- .202 intake,11:1 comp, .501 lift /290 dur cam, 650 dlb pmp holley tricked out, advance curve kit in dist, 3000 stall, turbo 350 w/shift kit, 411 rear. and of course a ausome sounding set of flowmasters this thing just hauls for what it is in a 3500 lb car and what has been done to it . I do all the wrenching myself ( with the extra set of hands from the better half). due to financial reasons (college) i have had it on the back burner for a number of years but now the time has come and i'm looking forward to an aggressive winter going thru the set-up and come spring i will be in to some MIDNIGHT cruses about town and getting back into the weekend blasts at the track

Well you picked the right crowd to be a part of, Jim. You have now entered the Official Unofficial Monte Carlo Forum, and be advised that it is declared a "*****-Free Zone." We are all friends and family here and support each other. No flaming allowed. I look forward to your posts in technical areas. Sounds like you have a very healthy wrench turning ability. What were/are you studying in college?
