wsup peps...
just totaled my camaro 10 SS
, so i decided to go purchase my second favorite vehicle the monte SS
, its clean and has alot of potetinel. My first mods will be CAI and High flo cats, amd Halos, I loved them on camaro, and I know would look killer on here. So my questions are.........
What is My engine called w/ auto tranny??/ LS????
where to get some decent Halos from, a must have.
want to do a big break upgrade (14 in rotors, big calipers) what are my options?
Tunner who provides a great tuner for a monte 06?
What CAI to go with? (performance and looks)
I know some of this stuff is coverd most likley throughout the fourm but i just want to get started..

Nevermind I now see that you are running with the LS4 5.3L V8 Monte SS.
You can find halos and such on e-bay, but be warned that the quality isn't the best and that the halos can go out.
For CAI, I would go with the ColdAirInductions.com kit. The K&N looks nice, but it's a major heat magnet.
I'm not big on the braking system, I honestly wouldn't worry about your brakes. The 7th Generation Montes got a good stock system.
I know a lot of people use Diablo hand-held tuners, other than that you are probably going to have to look for a good HPTuner and a friend.
For more modifications and fun, you should check out LS1tech.com They have a whole section about the FWD V8s. MC/Imp/GXP

thanks bro!!!! thats not good about the halos, i want them so bad!!! i yeah CAI makes a good CAI good quality parts. I like em.... with a tune how much do you gain form it, and LT headers are they worth getting? Thanks!

yeah it does sucks, but this monte helps soothes the wounds
lol (its so sweet looking laser blue), i was on the clemson road exit, exit 80. Im in KS now, i was a drill sgt at fort jackson.
