Glenn, it looks awesome! Let me know if you decide to swap out your wheels. I'd love to have the SS stockers on my 3LT! (it's silver too btw)
Plus I think the SS still came stock with 17" wheels, so they'd still take the same tires. That or their 18's so it wouldn't be hard to find tiresfor em. My car still has the original 17's with the oemGoodyears. Oh, and I'm calling Dibbs, unless someone else you know has called itahead of me, lol. Don't worry, I wouldn't expect to get em free or anything.
Also, if you want a killer mod to go with the stripe package and the tint, they sell a taillight paint that blacks them out without effecting the visibility of the taillights as much as the smoked covers do. It darkens them, but lets the red of the lights out very well.I didthis on my first Chevycoupe, and plan on doing it to my 06 as soon as I get the windows tinted, because it looks awesome when done together.

Thanks for the compliments, & the suggestion about the tail lights. I will definitely look into it. As far as changing my wheels when I actually do it you got first dibs. We can work out a reasonable saleprice when the time comes. FYIthe stock SS wheels are 18" with stock Goodyear RSAtires (size 235/50/18) so new tire would be in order.

A guy at the Montes @ MIS event had a 6 spoke wheel on his '06 SS. Nice wheels and all but to me a 5 spoke would have looked better.
When you mentioned you were interested in an aftermarket wheel I thought a 5 spoke would be nice. [sm=shades.gif]

Tinting the foward windows is outlawed in California unless you have a doctor's excuse!
You can only tint the rear windows if you have 2 outside mirrors.

For some reason 6 spoke or higher wheels just don't do anything for me. Well except for the 10 spoke stock wheels on the Z06 vettes, which kind of look like a 5 spoke with large splits. Those wheels totally kick ***.
