Hi all, just thought I would pop in and say hi. After a lot of looking, finally found the right SS to trade my 02 Jetta 1.8T on...2003 black on black SS. 95K on her, needs some work but that's what I love about her. Best part is that I got her for 5k. (Most of them are in the 8K range around here.) I have been a tech for years and now I run an auto parts store, so I'm in the perfect position to get her in pristine condition. Not doing anything heavy on the mods right now-all ready replaced tires and front hubs. Plan on Quick Struts, brakes, and tune up in the next week or so. Working on getting some interior repairs done-the dash panel that surrounds the IP and radio is pretty beat up. Just bought a new Kenwood deck and I'm rewiring to eliminate the factory amp. Also going to debadge the whole car except for new SS emblems. Pics to come soon!

I remember when I said I wasn't going to mod too much or do anything crazy to mine

 

As soon as I got it, my wife asks me (as she rubs the belly holding the 4th kid due in March) "what do you think you're going to do to it?" She knows me too well. I have to hold back a little for awhile....but I'll get there

 

welcome your not to far from a few of us. We meet up in STL often for shows. Only 3-4 of us ussually show but there is at least 6-7.
