New from SC
Hey Folks, just wanted to drop by and introduce myself. I am 46 and I currently reside in SC and work at Boeing. The 05 SS (about 35k original miles on it) I have belonged to my parents who then sold it to my son, Kevin (23) this past August. My son was shot in the car on 11/22/2014 and passed away that same evening at the hospital after only owning the car for about 3 months (but man, did he LOVE that car!) Well, now the car is mine, unfortunately. I actually thought about crushing the thing at first but something in my head kept telling me not to so I figured I would “re-do” the car as a tribute to him. The body is currently being repaired and repainted, the interior needs to be re-done and doing a little to the motor (the things he wanted to do to it anyway) so I will be around here poking around trying to get ideas of what else I can do to for him. Any tips or ideas you all might have would be greatly appreciated.
Attached a picture of the car and Kevin the day he picked the car up at my parents house. That was a GREAT day.
