Default A new Reaper

hello all, Im a couple of days i will have myself a 2007 laser blue ss. but before i go all crazy with mods.. what are some of the things i should worry about? how long does the tranny last ? any other issues that have been popping up? theres been 2 years to find them all i suppose

heyy! welcome to the forum! don't know that much about the 7th gens but i'm most certain that one of the 7th gen experts around here (lol) will be able to help you out for sure =D

Umm, tranny will vary on how hard you push it. They can last forever. Other issues... Ummmm watch out for the sensors, they regularaly go bad.

Welcome to the forum.

The 7th Gen SS doesn't have the greatest aftermarket right now, so I wouldn't expect a lot of Mods for your money, unless you mean like CAI, exhaust and sound system.

The transmissions will be the weak point, depending on how the car is driven. Other than that it's going to be a relatively smooth ownership. Some 7th Gens have had some electrical/ECM problems, but it's covered under a GM warranty if it happens.
