Hey gang,
Name's Jeff - I'm a NYer living in Wisconsin (don't freakin' ask).
Bought a low-mileage '03 LS last year (14,000miles!) 3400SFI, drove it for a year stock, and started working on her this spring.
Here's what's been done so far...
H&R springs - lowered 1.5inches all around.
Hi Flow cat and Dynomax exhaust
A 'did it myself' cold air intake.
Polished intake manifold (inside), sand blasted and clear-coated (outside)
Sand blasted and clear coated valve cover (otherwise stock)
8mm wires
Additional work this summer will include tinting, new tires, brakes, slotted/drilled rotors, and maybe calipers. My winter project will be a new top end to the engine - ported and polished, new throttle body, bigger injectors, new heads, perhaps some cam work. If my neighbor (also a wrench-head) gets his way, forged pistons and a bolt-on supercharger are also in the works (he likes spending my money). I do my own work until I get into the electronic aspects of things (performance tunes, etc). I'm a gearhead, basically.
It's nothing spectacular to look at aside from being immaculately clean - I'm going for the sleeper look, but I've already embarrassed my fair share of Nissans and Hondas around here...It's placed at two local car shows, in the 1980-modern category. I wish it was a V8 and RWD, but then again, I think a lot us wish for that.

Thanks fellas...here's the engine bay before I added the CIA. I'm not really doing much to it in the way of aftermarket - there's not really much out there. I stripped and sprayed the stress bars - the original black paint was chipped and peeling. That's about it.

Your love of your Monte is refected in your pic's : )
It's one of the cleanest Street/Show Monte's that I've seen.
I think it's a great hobby to have. I appreciate your work.
