Welcome to the forum from a fellow Dale Jr edition owner.

I love mine. It's my first supercharged 3800 also. I know you'll have lots of fun in yours!

Don't be afraid to ask us any questions. We'll do our best to answer them for ya!

Thank you. I'm loving it so far. So far the best and quickest car I've owned. Only thing I'm not liking is filling it with high test, lol, but I can live with it

I found out about the need for premium gas the hard way. AFTER I bought it.

When I picked up the car from the dealership, they "forgot" to fill it with gas. Let me drive away with 1/8th of a tank. Luckily there was a gas station next door.

When I opened the gasoline door, there was the sticker staring me in the face: "PREMIUM UNLEADED ONLY"

My immediate response:

F***!!!

But I love the car, and have no plans to get rid of it. I want to keep this car as long as I can.

When did you find out about the need for premium gas?

That's incredible!

You know how many people here pulled their hair out trying to get anywhere with Chevy Customer Assistance? Too many. The fact that they're sending you a copy of your COA is even more amazing. Congrats!

Your COA should look like the attached pic.

I didn't have any problems. I did send an email at first and that didn't get me anywhere so I called last night, got a person in less then 2 min, and had an answer in 10.

please let us know if you get the COA. i'd called a couple months back and they said they'd send a copy of the original, but all i got was a letter with the build # and my vin # and whatnot. i'd still like to get a copy of it so if you get it maybe i'll give them another call.

They said they were sending a copy of the original, the original was already issued, and it should be here in 3-4 weeks
