Default New N00bie...

Hey Everyone,

Just wanted to come around and say whats up. My mom (LittleMT aka Lucille) owns a 2006 Monte Carlo SS, that I myself drive whenever my 2004 Dodge SRT4 is in the shop or when it is low on fuel.

here are a couple pics

2006 Monte Carlo SS

2004 Dodge SRT4

Currently getting the motor rebuilt

I hope to make new friends and see what mods are available for the 2006 Monte SS!

Thanks for the comment! I will hopefully enjoy my stay. How many members are on here that are actually 06-07 SS Monte Owners. I want to surprise my folks and get them, maybe some new 17" rims with a much fatter tire and some lowering springs. I am also interested in vendors making parts for the 5.3L SS motor.

lol, i am full of questions, i will get to browsing and searching asap!

Lol. The monte already has beautiful 18" rims on it. I will trade you my 17"s for your 18"s. lol. There are plenty of aftermarket mods for the 5.3. Look at the sponsors for the website, K&N etc. They have a CAI. And i know they make a Diablo Sport Tuner for that motor as well. Good luck

The 18s are cool for the car stock, but they are so HEAVY!!! lol. I was hoping to get some nice, centerline storms or something of that sort that weigh a mere 15.5lbs, and then i could fit a nice sticker 245 on there or whatever.

Thanks for the replies and making me welcome

The Monte SS has ran a best of 14.91@96 i believe, and my SRT4 has ran a 12.38@118.6 on stock internals with a very mild tune

The Monte is virtually stock still and my srt4 is HEAVILY modded. On low boost, i dynoed 438HP/490TQ on my SRT4. I am gonna max out my 50trim turbo on my srt4 and then up the bar by going to a GT35R and shooting for 600HP.

The Monte SS, well we hope to get her in the 13s and trapping 106ish, that would be fun enough

Thanks for all the great comments! I feel real welcome!

Gabriel
