I've always wanted a Monte Carlo since the 6th Gen came out in 2000. I finally got one: a 2005 Supercharged that came with a few more problems than I was hoping for... beginning with a possible blown head gasket, the wrong coolant in the radiator, possible oil in the trans, and a battery drain somewhere in the system. Well, you have to expect a few issues with an old car, along with the potential deception of a car dealer from out of state. I'm certainly not sending it back, so I'll just be fixing some of these things a little sooner than expected.

Otherwise, the body, paint, and interior are nearly perfect. It's in great shape other than the issues that will be rooted out at inspection tomorrow. I would expect to pay at least 8 or 9 grand for one of these with fewer problems, and I paid about half that. Another couple grand to fix these problems, and I'll end up paying what I expected to anyway.

I'll try not to start new threads about things that have been discussed a million times, but I may revive some ancient posts with questions now and then.

Thanks for the add!

Welcome to the MCForum.
Wow I love that color! Those are pretty rare in that color I would suspect I have only seen a couple of them.
The 6th Gen has a few issues and alot of them have been covered on this Forum.
