Default New Monte Owner
Hello everyone. I just got my first Monte Carlo SS after years of wanting one. Now I am the proud owner of a 2000 Monte pace car.

I will be reading though the forum for a bit trying to get a grasp on things here but I wanted to take a little time to introduce myself.

Welcome to the site. Love the Pace Cars. Looks like she's still rockin' the white letter (or yellow?) Goodyears.

I was very close to purchasing a red 2000 myself. It was at a used car dealer. I offered $1000 less than asking price because the A/C didn't work and he wouldn't budge because he claimed to have just put $1000 worth of repairs into it. If he would have met me in the middle and dropped $500, I would have had a red one instead of a blue one. I don't mind, because I fell in love with the blue more, but the red and black interior of the 2000 is hard to beat!
