thanks every body. just flushed all coolant and let me tell yu wasn't pretty I'll post some pics up tomorrow

Look up Fuel Level Sending Unit, it is most likely bad.

thanks that's probably what I'm doing next Any idea how much for it and difficulty of changing it? I know there's the access door in the trunk to the fuel pump . can I get to it through there
