New Member from Texas
Hi Yall,
My first name is Kyle and I'm from the DFW area in North Central Texas (not the Panhandle). My ride is an '06 Monte Carlo LTZ with the 3.9L V6. I've got about 230K on it and its still a nice ride. I've had some recent problems that I'm trying to work through but it's still my baby. My mechanic friend recently retired so now I'm doing my own repairs. Looking for all the info I can get from this forum and just general advice (mostly on what not to do.) I'm comfortable doing most repairs as long as I have good docs and videos (and the right tools). My goal is to make my Monte last another 70K miles before I buy something else. I still drive this car long distances so reliability trumps performance for me.

Sounds like you take care of the car, maintenance is an issue that a lot of folks forget until they have problems.
