Howdy y'all! I am currently in the market for a 2000+ Monte Carlo SS. I use to have a 99 Grand Prix GT and I did love that car, but think the montes of that similar generation look better!

welcome, the ss is a cool car with a great motor, supercharged 3.8 or just the 3.8NA.....

Welcome to the forum!

The 2000 to 2005's are great cars. They have the same 3.8 litre engines that the Grand Prix had. But if you like the slightly different front end, the 2006 & 2007 SS Montes have the 5.3 litre V8. A little more power.
