Hello, I registered quite a while ago. I have a 2003 Jeff Gordon Monte Carlo.

Welcome back, I saw it has been a while for you. What have you done with your car since you joined? How about photos of your other special interest cars/ more of this one?

Glen, thanks for the response. The car has mostly been sitting for the past couple years while I tried to "find" an engine oil leak. I finally came to grips with the fact that I was going to have to change the pan gasket. It took me about 10 hours total for an approximately 5 hours labor job. Next time I will pay dude the $500 to do it! Now, there is a "red fluid" leak that I need to track down, I just hope it is an easy fix!

AND now the CEL is on P0446. It is probably the same cause for the SVS light being on as well. I'll be changing out the fuel tank pressure sensor, the evap canister and the valve. (The guy who sold the car to my father told him that the evap canister and valve needed to be replaced).

I had the P0446 code and replaced the canister and valve by the tank but it came back after a few months. Replacing the sensor fixed it and was pretty easy.
