Hello everybody. I'm a 21 year old do-it-yourselfer who works at a BMW Dealership (oddly enough), with a 1986 sport coupe.
A 350 was dropped into my car before I came to own it, and I'm still curious as to where that engine came from. haha I've added a custom sound system, as well as an MSD 6AL ignition, anew carburetor, an intake arm, a new radiator, a deep cycle battery, hooker headers and a dual exhaust system, as well as new tires. I haven't done anything too dramatic or hard-work oriented to the car other than the exhaust... that was a pain.
I joined this forum to get insight on things I don't have the answers to, and things that Google just can't seem to dig up.
In my car's future, there will be a new hood, a new front end, new dash with a tach, a simple body kit, and various motor modifications.
Hopefully joining this forum with give me a head start on finishing what I want to do with my car.
Happy motoring,
Krakenaru

Welcome. That ride is PIMP! I have those same subs. Kicker compvr 15's right? You have picked an excellent forum to join. The people here are great. Good luck with your Monte and give us some underhood pics to drool over.

Yeah, they're Comp VR's, but only 12" lol
I had to compromise some low tones for better trunk space because the trunk gets shorter as it shares space with the rear deck. I made a custom box for the subs which fit so snug under the rear deck that I had to cut some of the carpeting off the bottom so it would fit and that box, so tightly fitted, only fit 12". =P
Under the hood isn't looking too pretty yet, mainly because I've been experimenting with what color or colors I want to paint everything... but here's a few pics anyway haha

Looks pretty sweet. And you have lots of room to work with. Have you considered doing an EFI conversion? The Holley Avenger EZ EFI looks like a really nice setup. Replaces the carb with a throttle body and automatically tunes via data from O2 sensors.

I was looking at old TPI systems and seeing how that could help me a while ago. I've never heard of that Holley setup. It sounds a LOT easier than finding a TPI system that would fit.
I just looked up the Holley EFI system, it seems awesome, but I can't find a price. I don't like when i can't find prices. It makes me nervous. haha

Now that you mention it... I've never seen a price either. I have watched them install the system on hotrod tv, but they RARELY mention the prices. I'm going to look right now.
