Hastings... as for a question, We are having trouble with the brake lights not working. They keep blowing out. 3rd light and tail lights all work but the brake light blows out or stops working one way or another after a few days use...

Also what temp are the fans set to come on at on a stock tune? it gets really hot (white line on the dash gauge) if you just let it sit or if you drive threw town... runs normal on the highway. We replaced the temp sensor by the t-stat (which i think is for the dash gauge) with one from oreilly's and I'm thinking its just reading hot cause I never hear it boiling over when we shut it off... any ideas? I dont ever let it get into the red. I turn the a/c on to kick the fans on if it gets close to the line....

Welcome to the site. Does the coolant level go down at all. Intake gaskets are a common problem on a lot of go motors including the 3.4 and 3.8

no it doesn't lose coolant. We put a new t-stat in when we replaced the sensor
