edit: have you checked gmparts direct? I heard they are very slow at getting stuff shipped out, but I also heard that you can get the same exact items ordered at your local chevy dealer?

I've ordered several items from gm parts direct and have had very
good results with their shipping. You are correct about getting the same parts from your local dealer. I got the monte exhaust upgrade for my '04
from my local dealer and saved all the shipping costs (GM ships to the dealers free) and ordered it through a friend who owns a parts house so I
was able to get 20% off the price and no sales tax, win/win situation.
If you e-mail them, they will also give you the part #'s so you can correctly order all the GM goodies from your local guy.

Thanks, that's VERY good advice! Wish I had more friends that worked in the car business and parts business... 20% is NICE! I usually just end up waiting for internet sales. :( Or, paying full price.

I'm now considering a stripe package from Auto Trim DESIGN:

obviously in black on a victory red Dale Jr. SS.... Is this a good idea or would the top stripes and the side stripes make it look too "busy"? If I still had my '02 red LS and I KNEW about sites available, I would have purchased a cheap body kit and a stripe kit to go along with the rims I already had... But I had stated before that i do like how the Dale jr. is setup... I'm already doing the front SLP grille, I don't think I need any additional exterior modifications, do I?

I would pass on the rally stripes - they don't go with your side stripes.

CHRIS... MAN... WHERE DID YOU GET THOSE!!!?????? MINE, MINE, MINE!!!!!!

want, want, want, want!!!!!!

That's my opinion AwesomeSS.... I think the stripes make it look too "busy".

And P.S. to Taz.... ... I saw that your Dale Jr. SS has rubber floor mats... where can I find some?? I don't want to use my carpeted floor mats anymore...
