Tad I had an aunt that lived at 12 and harper, My buddy still lives at 11 mile and harper....My little brother lives at 13 and little mack.

I use to hang at the burgerking at 12 and gratiot...along with cruiseing it...lol (like ev1 else did)...use to drag race on metro parkway...(we had a 1/4 mile marked off)...
remember the 2 fingers bar at toepher and gratiot?..rare cherry at frazho and gratiot?...The carnivals at Eastgate? lol How about beat the wizard arcade on 13mile just west of gratiot?
any of that sound familiar?

Yep remember some of those places... I left Mich in 76 to join the Navy I didn't go back untill 1999 so some of those places where after my time there. I crused Gratiot a lot in my 68 Mustang Convertable. Lost a wheel near Metro Parway once. Man those where the good ole days. Remember the Hippo and Lion sculptures at Eastgate? I used to love to play on them as a kid when mom dragged me along shopping. Also they had an awsome Saunders there to.

I used to work (my 1st job @ 16 years old) at the National Coney Island at the strip mall at 13 mile and Harper. Had lunch there not too long ago man was like going back into time

 

Its amazing that a few members have lived close to where I live now at some point, I was born oct. 16 1987, so in 1972 I wasn't even thought of, my mom was still a kid. I was born in detroit, moved to eastpointe, moved to clinton township, and then finally moved to roseville in 98. I was in the class of 2006 from roseville high school. Thanks for the compliment on the car, your car is pretty sweet.

 

Well, welcome to the fourm some of use Michigan MCF members have had mini meets during the year. Look foreward to see you at one of them next summer. Check here they are well advertised by threads as the time gets closer!
