Hello... I just registered, but have found the forum helpful for a few months now. In December 2015, I helped my 15-1/2 year old son purchase a 2002 SS as his first car. We purchased a 'project' for a decent price- knowing it needed front suspension, brake, bearing hubs, etc. This would be a great opportunity to wrench together and learn... Well, we're getting there, but it has taken more than anticipated and we just completed an engine swap due to a spun rod bearing... We are both still thrilled with the car and look forward to a number of years of ownership. Thanks, Denny.
