Hi Everyone,
I'm Brad 38 live in Independence, MO, I got my Parents old Monte Carlo it's a 72 custom. The car is a 72 with a 402 BB and a Turbo 400 transmission, came with all the options AC, posi, sway bars, disc brakes, and a cassette player, 88k original miles. I'm currently swapping out the 402 for a rebuilt 70's 454, putting on wilwood big brakes 6 piston front and 4 piston rears. Going to do FiTech EFI on the new motor, hooker headers and american thunder exhaust for starters.

I work in sales for a Fire Sprinkler Company in Kansas City, work on cars and play disc golf in my free time.

Hello and Welcome to the MCF!

Nice, gorgeous Monte you are building up. Getting ready to sink a ton of money into it from all of your parts listed. The Willwood bakes are to die for, super upgrade, you need them to stop your heavy weight... 88k original miles, sweeeet!

Hey Zippy02 thanks for the comments, yeah it's going to cost a little to get this thing back on the road again. It's been sitting in a garage for 30 years, but the it will get worth it to get out to the cruise nights in the monte.

Smile Welcome to the MCF

Welcome to the MCF
Nice Monte Carlo I had an All White 71, the factory tape player at the time was an 8Track which mine had. Then some one wanted to buy it and I went back to a Camaro, and then a Chevelle. I kind of got it cause the girls always sat up on the Console lid. So I went back from the Luxury rides to performance ride.

Welcome, looks pretty solid actually! My dad used to have a 72 Custom with a 454 BB he rebuilt; I loved that car.

That is as beautiful as any car that color could possibly be.
