I just bought a 2003 Monte Carlo LS with 54,000 miles on it. I've owned a few Cadillacs, but after my last two had serious problems, I figured I'd try something a little simpler with a lower cost of ownership. I have been a member of similar forums for my Blazer and Cadillacs, so I look forward to the bevy of knowledge I have access to here.

So far I love my Monte Carlo, it's fun to drive and is more practical.

I've already taken off some amateur window tint that it came with and ordered a spoiler for it, but I don't know how much customizing I'll do beyond that.

Welcome to the MCF...
Your Monte LS looks like a brand new Monte
Was it a one owner ? It sure has low miles & must have been garage kept.

Wish you safe/fun/trouble`free miles..

Yeah Space, looks like you're a fellow Floridian. According to the Carfax, one owner who drove it less than 6,000 miles a year.

Welcome to the forum. Looks in good shape for a 10 year old car. Without spending a ton of money, the only other thing I would probably do if I were you is wheels. Get some nice looking wheels that you like, at a good price. Those standard LS rims that came with the car really take away from the look of the car. And show the age of the car. Those style wheels were left over from the 1990's models. Nothing wrong with them per se. But just show the age of the car more.

GM was known for taking the high end optional wheels from one generation, and making it the base model freebie wheel on the next generation. Kind of upsetting when you're the one who paid the extra money for them. (been there myself)

If you can find a good deal on some wheels you like, maybe go with some different wheels. No need for any other mods, aside from the ones you already mentioned.
