I'm the proud owner (for now) of a 2003 Monte Carlo SS.

I'm a book store owner, baseball fan, and metal head based in Chicago.

Welcome to MCF, Doc! I used to be the proud owner of an '03 SS, too! That is, until an old lady ran a red light and totaled it out for me... Now I have an '07. Getting it ready for a show this weekend as a matter of fact! I grew up in Chicago, now live in NE Arkansas. Still have plenty of family living there, but they've all moved out of the city into the suburbs. I grew up in the area around Midway Airport. Like the metal a bit myself. More of the old hard rock mostly. Mix in some Pantera, Metallica, Megadeth, etc... Just caught the most recent KISS farewell tour in Memphis. Great show! HUUUUUUGE baseball fan as well. Sox, not so much Cubs, though. In baseball season, half my family doesn't get along with the other half, lol. We come together in football and hockey season, though...

Love the red and black colors!. Blends in well with the ASU RedWolves there in Jonesboro. I believe I know the exact parking lot you're at in the picture. My dad's a big Chief- supporter there. I live in West Memphis, but lived in Jonesboro from 1997 to 2009, then in Monette, AR for about 2 years (14 to 16).

I've got a silver 2007 LT and wish I could find an SS with few miles. I've owned 4 Monte Carlos; never wrecked/damaged any. Just drove them until the miles got very high then sold or traded.

If you ever head to West Memphis / Marion....I'm around.
