Welcome to the forum. The 79 Montes are a classic. Hold on to the one if you can.

Where are you in Canada? I'm in Windsor, Ontario

well the parts i am looking for are new or semi new interior bits and panelling, mine are faded and rotted on both cars, looking for light blue just so i can match the originality of the car. im also interested in the 4 speed manual conversion, i know the 78 and 79 came with them even though the 79 brochure says otherwise, just want to find all the pieces i need for that conversion.

also the rear end, now here i am lost because i get mixed advice, i plan on running a 350 with approx. 325 hp. i dont know if i should dump the money in the factory rear end or go with a complete ford 9 inch conversion for approx. 1600 bucks from quickperformance.com

and TAZ i definately would not part with this car i have original mint condition brochures manuals sales reciepts and an unforgiving passion for this car ill die b4 i get rid of it

Off the top of my head, you can try Year One.

www.yearone.com

On the left side of the homepage, under "Shop Online", click on "53-10 Chevrolet". Then select "78-88 Monte Carlo/El Camino". Once on the 78-88 Monte Carlo page, check out the "Browse Catalogue Links" on the left side of the page.
