Hello all, I just bought another Monte Carlo SS, my first was wrecked, next was sold when I got into Corvette's. This one is a 1988 Monte Carlo SS with only 26,000 miles, new interior, GM 333 HP 350 crate engine (under 200 miles), TH 700 R4 transmission, headers, American Thunder exhaust system. It has all options including T Top, new Eagle GT II tires, new polished alternator, a/c compressor and PS pump.
I am a retired guy, decided to go for something a little wild and more comfortable than the old Corvette's. I have new Monroe coil over shocks, otherwise original suspension. I've ordered, How to Make Your Muscle Car handle, currently backordered. Only expected upgrades are suspension and possibly EFI.
I also have all the original parts, 305 HO engine, 200 R4 transmission, and accessories in case I ever want it to be a numbers matching original.
Thanks for all the informative conversations.
Best Wishes, Barry88

We trailered it and the spares from New Jersey to Houston, TX. Got lots of interest, 3 asked if it were for sale, probably 15 honks and thumbs up. Tennessee HP Officer pulled us over, made up an excuse and talked about the car. Houston PD officer stopped while I was getting it inspected, told me to carry a gun if I drive it. I'll get better pics when weather improves here.
Thanks Again
