Question New Member Alert

Hello I’m A New Member I have a question I have a 2002 Monte Carlo LS and when I accelerate my rpm goes up but the car doesn’t take action as it suppose I have a lot of new parts installed such as spark plugs and wires, pcv valve, but the only thing I haven’t change was the ignition coils

Welcome to the forum!

If your engine revs, but the car doesn't move, it should be transmission related.

I agree on the Transmission. pull the dip stick and see what color the fluid is if it is not Red, but a brown then you may have needed a trans service. After you do that add some Lucas oil trans lube it will help it shift and move better. It could be cooked and need a complete rebuild too??
