I bought a new Monte Carlo SS in 1988. After about a year my wife talked me into selling. Said that wasn't a proper car for an older man. 48 years old at the time. Now 29 years later, 77 years old and new wife, I got my Monte Carlo. 1986 SS with 39,000 thousand miles. I like it!....Billy Mitchell :cool

Welcome to the MCF Billy.

I had a 1972 Chevelle SS when I first got married it was a car I ordered from the Factory thru the dealer. At the behest of my wife I sold it also, for more $ than the sticker and the $ were used for a House purchase.
Moral of this story is never listen the your Wife,
