Hey Folks!
I just bought my daughter a 03 Monte Carlo SS. I have wanted a MC since 1999. I am/was a HUGE Dale Earnhardt fan so its a car I've always wanted. I love my camaros too, don't get me wrong. I owed a 2010 Camaro SS a few years ago.
I am hoping to show my daughter you should CARE for your cars. This one is used with 135K on it. It has had some bumps and bruises along the way but a great starter car.
Yes, it's YELLOW! The previous owners repainted the car and changed the Monte Carlo emblems from black to red. The interior is tan, wish it was black. I need to change out some buttons from wear, replace the multifunction switch, the RPM dash light is out, it didn't have a key fob which I have ordered now and researched how to program it, and we had the CAT changed yesterday. It was throwing a code for it, but I didn't know the CAT on it had been gutted. Not sure I am happy to have changed it out now, but we shall see.
I am thinkin of changing out the lights to halogens and perhaps yellow fog lights and some interior led lighting. Maybe too much on the yellow, may choose to accent with the red.
I am on the forums for suburbans, cruze, camaro, and now MC. Can you tell I am a GM girl? Anyways great to be here, I will be using the forums for LOTS of research and ideas!
Oh the car is named Skittles (her decision)
