Just like to say thanks for haveing me on board. I have had my monte about six mounths now, fell in love with the moment I found it. I had searched 4 3 mounths. Have had som problems with it but hopefully I can find som answers on here other the that I love my car.she, galaxy silver mattalic, with black fender accsent strips, cloth int gray seats with blue inlay.black dash and door panels.and sun roof, am, fmcd and cassette. Has ok wheels but need better. Also the bottom of the fiscia, s are black, and so is the rocker panels. And the knite medallion on 1/4 behinde opra Window. I think this is the mid grade LS but dont know. If any one know, s what model this is please let me know. But anyway I still lov my car.enge nto much to look at but the outside, shines. Would like to make to one of the meets comming up. Thanks for looking.

Thanks, for all the nice greetings. I wiil try to pos pictutes of my monte som time. Now let's get down to brass tacks. My monte is a mid grade lS with a 3400 engine but recently it has startted acting up.when you go to take off she stars to boug outwhen I go to give it gas , cleand the mapp sencer ran fine for a while then sarted actting funy agian, changed fuel fulter still :: acting up changed air filter same thing anyone have any ideas on -on this . Thanks for the help. Bernie.

 

Any ces lights? If not, have you checked the plugs and wires? Could be a lot of different things, even a clogged cat or a bad O2 sensor.

Have you taken your Monte to your local auto parts store to have them scan for codes?
I would do that just to find out and then go from there.
