Hey everyone.
Just found your forum. I just picked up a 2002 Monte SS Pace Car from my father-in-law. Its a DD now. I have a highly modded 2005 Toyota Tacoma X-runner that has a bad piston. Its gonna get re-built with racing internals. So we are barrowing the Monte with plans to buy it from him.
Picked it up a week ago. It was a garage queen; stored in a barn since August last year. We got her cleaned up. New battery, 3M tint, new Alpine SD, and Alipne Type R components. Also replaced the rear view mirror cause the original was broken.
Things to come is some new tires and an alignment. It drives good. 122K miles. Don't know if its had engine work. Other than that, all stock. Don't have many plans to mod. My X-runner has around 15K in mods....
Look forward to finding some small mods to do to the Monte. Might do a CAI and exhaust. Anyone have a 2002 Supercharged??
