Thanks Everyone for the warm welcome! The change from a 3400 to a 5.3L was a very nice change and I can't wait to see what I can get this motor to do with some work. I have just started working on the car so the only things I have done so far is changed the SS emblems from white to red using overlays. I am currently working on putting in my old stereo with a few upgrades. I have finished putting in JBL C6008GTi MKII components in front and rear. I have also dyna matted the front doors and trunk. I started running the amp wiring last night but found out that changing out the battery from a factory one to a Optima Red Top is not an easy task. I am also trying to figure out the best place to power my O gauge wire that I am running. I really wanted to go to the battery but don't want to hack off the factory clamps. If anyone has any suggestions as to what they did or anything I should look at I would greatly apprecate it. I am looking at using the post that is right at the top of the fuse box right next to the battery. I am just concerned that the 8 gauge going to the post won't be enough to bower the 0 gauge going the back.

Thanks,
Brian *** / SickParadox
