New member 2006 SS

Hey Im new here! I have a 2006 SS and i am wondering what other SS owners have for aftermarket parts on their cars or for advice on what to add or not to add. I'm looking for an exhaust, intake, and chip for mine. Any advice would be great. Thanks

Welcome to the site. Just a heads up, "chips" are worthless. You need an actual PCM tune to see any real gains.

yea, i didn't mean "chip" i meant tuner or programmer, such as the diablo sport preditor, i think Jet chips programmer and others. i know the "chips" from ebay that claim to make hp are worthless.

You can get you pcm tuned, or get an HP tuner and learn to do it yourself (pretty tough to do BTW). You can also add a high flow down pipe and a cold air intake. That can get you started. Someone will get on the thread and give more advice regarding other things to do to your engine. I'm not sure what's out there for your V-8 as far as performance parts.
