Hello,
I am sort a new member, and trying to break through the limited account rules so I can see all the pictures people post.
I owned a 2002 SS/ Limited edition. I bought it in 2004, and found this group shortly thereafter. I had an account and read through the boards regularly.
In 2008 I sold my car, I couldn't afford to keep it anymore. I sold it to my father-in-law because he really liked it. I stopped coming to the board...well there was no reason to anymore.
In 2010, My father-in-law was convinced the car was evil and causing him to drink...he called it Christine and gave it back to me. The first thing I did after getting it back...was rejoin the group.

I should have actually introduced myself.
My name is Mike. I am originally from right outside Detroit, and lived there until I graduated high school, and joined the Navy.
I have spent the last 18 years prowling the seas, in the world greatest submarine force.
When not at sea, I am a father of five....Three Girls (13,12,9) and two boys (5,3). My wife supports my Monte Carlo addiction.

Aside from the MOnte and the Navy, I am a pretty good ameture Photographer, practice Capoeira and an Active Free Mason.

My car is the 2002 SS limited edition.
Black with the silver ground effects.
I put a dynomax cat back exhaust system in, and removed all that on-star crap.
I am putting a wiz air CAI soon, I am ordering it tonight and hope to install it next weekend.
- I chose the wiz air based on the reviews/ recommendations from people on this board.

Other interesting facts about my Monte:
Purchased in Florida, I lived in Georgia. Three months after buying it, I moved to Washington state. Two years later, I moved to Hawaii. Two years after that,I moved to Virginia.
The Monte Has been driven through 25 states and halfway around the world.
