I just wanted to say a quick hello. I found this forum searching the Internet for the radiator drain **** location on a 2006 Black Monte Carlo SS. Just so you know, mine does not have one so off to the shop it goes so they can do the flush there. Rather do it myself but without of drain ****, just do not have the right equipment. The shop is trying to talk me out of refilling it with DexCool but after I did my research online, I think the DexCool is fine, you just have to check like any other fluid.

I remember as I was growing up how much I liked Monte Carlos. This is my first one and one month into ownership, I am very pleased. Since none of my cars qualified for cash for clunkers, I decided to look for a nice used car. I was very lucky and found this 2006 Monte Carlo SS with 11K miles. The poor guy that bought it new passed away and I am sure he was very pleased with this car. I did not want to spend $30K plus for a new car and this one is practically new.

I have already had a couple fun moments when folks tried to flex their car muscle next to me and I just simply gave them a quick look I as waved bye as the V8's power kicked in.

I hope all of you are enjoying yours.
