Default New from Iowa

Hello everyone! My name is Jim and i currently drive a 2001 monte carlo ss. I've had it for about a little over a year now. It has a 3.8 with 126,000 miles and counting. My mods include a k&n cold air intake, zzp pcm, 2.5 inch downpipe with u bend delete and high flow cat, and 50 series flowmaster mufflers. I also have a HV 3 insert laying around that i haven't got around to installing, but looking to do that in the next couple of weeks when i fix my intake gasket leak. I'm looking to do more mods in the next few months, just havent decided which ones for sure, but i'm looking to keep it NA with all the work that it takes to supercharge one of these things and the higher miles that this thing has on it. I'm looking forward to chatting with all of you as well as learning some more things about these sexy beasts!

Welcome to the forum. I also run a high mileage SS and I'm keeping it NA. Over the weekend I just installed my HV3, while you are doing that, you should do the little extra work to put in ER Ratio Rockers and get yourself a good front powerlog.
