Just wanted to drop a line or two. I just purchased a 2007 SS, it has about 24,000 miles on it. I am enjoying the car so far. Picked it up saturday the 19th.

The car is white in color. The only think I am not crazy about is that it has cloth interior, but I am sure I will get used to it. I had some crazy snow to drive thru this morning and it seemed to do pretty well. I had to tade in my chrysler 300csrt8, the payments were getting to me and couldent go thru snow so it was only a seasonal vehical. I hope I have good luck with the monte. I am interested in doing some things to it, not sure what and what you can all do. Any advise or feed back would be appriciated. Thanks guys

You actually can get the cloth switched to leather. One of our members (MaMonte) had it done locally and I think only had to pay around $800 for the correct leather interior of the Monte Carlo. You just still wouldn't have the heated seats, unless you installed your own heating pads under the seats and set up your own toggle switch.

Welcome to the Monte world...I have an '07 white LT, with the dark gray cloth interior. Why don't you like the cloth seats? What made you pick a Monte Carlo?
You were lucky to get such low mileage - mine had about 28,000. I drove it 10,000 miles the first 4 months - I've never had a car that is so much fun to drive!
Post some pics soon...

Heres a good question. I was thinking of running a pac unit off of the stock head unit to just run a sub and amp nothing to big. Any one done this? Does it work well with the stock head unit? also how do you know if you have bose or not. My speakers do not say it, if you look in the trunk attached to the deck lid looks like a factory grey amp. but magnet on speakers dont say bose.
