Nice looking 5th gen Monte.

I've half heartedly been looking for a '95-99 Monte for my g/f to drive. I've been too busy going to car shows and cruise-ins to really give a dedicated look for one.

Thanks I got it on a steal too $4,000 in excellent condition there are 2 small scratches on the truck deck and thats all it blue booked for $5,400

that is a steal. i paid $2500 for mine but it has 210,000 on the car and 125,000 on the motor. it was a steal as well. but my dad sold me the car so whadya expect?

Yeah, Chris (SCC24540) should be a real expert on the 3100, he pulled and rebuilt his by hand, so I'm sure he'll have some pointers if you need any advice. Lots of other members (like Couch) should be able to help as well. I may have a 2006 7th gen, but heck, I think i've learned a thing or two from most everyone here! (car related or not, [:-] lol)
