Wanted to ask anybody on here if they ever had problems with water on front passenger side?floor mats and carpet are soaked.also noticed a lot of comments regarding hard shifts.i just purchased a 2003 ss any help would be appreciated.

 

Welcome to the forum, the leaking water could be a moved seal where your cabin air filter is, that is located at the air intake passenger side under the windshield wiper. I believe there is a seal that gets moved and allows water in, my car has never done it to me but I'm not sure if it did to the previous owner. If your car is having hard shifts it most likely is the failed pressure control solenoid in the transmission, replacement of the shift solenoid normally resolves that. I don't know how to swap it out my mechanic changed the one in my car when I got it.
