Default New here!

He guys, I have an option to buy a 2002 Monte Carlos SS Silver for $4600 with 105k Is it worth it? Runs 100%, Maintained good... Belongs to my wifes dad. Paint job is close to perfect except the hood has a dent where the basketball goal fell on it. Black leather, sunroof.... So should I go for it? I want something better on gas then my Escalade, but I don't want a honda! Realistically how much could I get for it if I decided to not want it no more? I bought an 07 Escalade for 60k new, it's now worth 28k... Don't want to throw money away anymore!

it shouldnt depreciate to much like an escelade. but look on the bright side atleast its not a bently. buy it drive it less than 10000 miles and trade it in they lose over 100000 grand depending on the car. but anyhow sounds like a decent deal mayby, if you decide you dont want it anymore and trade in youll lose on it always, but then if you sell private party and fix it up a bit you could get more. then buy myne

Kelly Blue book is $4,900 in fair condition, and $5,500 in good condition. With the dent, it can/t be considered excellent, so it appears it is a fair asking price, and if you have all the maintanence records, it should be a fair deal.
