Welcome to the forum from yet another 04 supercharged SS. I have the K&N replacement air filter that drops in to the stock airbox also. It's a good start. But when time and money allows, maybe go with a Cold Air Intake. K&N calls it a FIPK. But there are other brands to choose from.

The CAI's are a relatively easy mod that can be done in one day with some simple tools.

Welcome to the forum, bud! There are a few things you can do to your MC S/C to make it go faster! You should check, like chibiblacksheep said, under the intake/header section. I'd also suggest ZZPerformance/intense web sites for performance parts, and clubgp.com used parts for sale section to save a few bucks on used performance parts.
