New guy from RI
New here but not new to Monte Carlos, I have had a couple one 86 SS and an 87 Aerocoupe. I will be doing a deal that will get me an 81 Monte that needs a little work but is basically all there, car supposedly came from MA but I know nothing about it except its supposed to have a 383 GM crate engine with Bowtie phase 2 heads a TH350 with a 2800 stall. Seems to be a clean Monte I plan to make an SS clone. Anybody know anything of this car??

Welcome, Justin! I don't have experience with the 80's Monte's, but I've always admired them from afar. Found a great '87 Aerocoupe I wanted to buy back in the late 90's but my wife wouldn't go for it.
Lots of knowledgeable folks on the Forum that can help you out as you get further into the '81 project. Good luck.

Welcome to the Forum. Looks like a nice Monte Carlo. I wouldn't make it an ss clone but that's just me. I'm sure it will look great when it's complete.
