It must have something to do with the color Red that triggers your brain thinking "SOMETHING HERE LOOKS FAST AND AGGRESSIVE". Well at least that's an assumption I have. LOL!

I've seen red Chevelles such as yours through the years and I could never keep my eyes off it. It's a really beauty!!!

 

Anyone have advice on removing the chrome "WINNER" dealer logo that's on the back of my car? It's pictured on the first page. I'm assuming it's stuck on with some kind of adhesive as I don't see any bolts on the opposite side of the trunk behind it.

 

some goo gone squirted behind it, a piece of string (fishing string) or dental floss and slowly move it under the tag as you go under it and it should come off!

Finally got rid of those ugly dealer logos. The Goo Gone and Floss worked great. I'll take some new pics of the car minus the logos this weekend.

I agree, the red one's are the fastest. The "Winner" tag added at least 15 horsepower. Should've left it on. :p

Thanks Geddy for the kind words.... I was thinking the other day. How many red or in the red family. I've had. Counting My Harley's & cars & truck. I've had 8. Doesn't seem like much. I had other colors. Cause too much of a good thing. It figures out to every other car was Red. Now I have two in the garage. Never fails for a Red car or truck to turn my head !

 

Funny you should mention that. Yesterday morning on my way to work I was stopped at a red light. Suddenly to my left a red 2004 Monte Carlo Dale Jr. Edition drove by me. I immediately turned my head and looked at the Monte Carlo, at the same exact moment the guy in the other Monte turned to his left and was looking at my Monte Carlo. It's that red color...

 

I know the feeling Sabre. Most of us here are like that. Like Chris (monte carlo 3831) said, you got the Monte Carlo fever. Or maybe it's just red car fever? :p
