The new guy from Montreal Canada :)
Hello everyone,
I've been to this site on and off for awhile now but joined a few months ago when I took over my father's 2000 Monte Carlo Pace Car last year.
I've been in the "tunning scene" also for awhile but had to take a break from it when I got married and had kids but am slowly getting back in now that I have the Monte.
I've been learning a lot here reading through all the threads and do have many plans for my Monte down the road.
I'm from Montreal Canada.
The vibe on this forum is great.

Thanks everyone for the welcome.
As for plans on modding the car I gotta make sure some things on it are taken care of first. When it belonged to my father he babied it hard but at the sametime was his daily driver so there are somewhere and tears on it more being on the body like rust spots around the fenders I gotta take care of. Also I have a hole in my resonator so trying to figure out how I'm going to go about the exhaust part. Also come Feb this car will be the sole family car for awhile because my lease on my Mazda 5 is up and we don't plan on getting a car for at least another year or two. I'm hoping my dad will sell me his Trailblazer SS but I doubt it LOL.
If all goes well in a year or two and I have no more renos around the house to do (and I have to say it, if my wife let's me) I'd like to do a top swap.
Again thanks for the welcome.

Ohh yeah most def get those rust spots taken care of. My monte had rust developing on the top of it & I had to take care of that before it got any worse. Wow a Trailblazer SS, I loveee those! They're so BA when modded right. Good luck with the top swap! Hopefully you'll be able to do it =)

I hope so also With the way the car looks there's a couple of cars that ask to go and these are high hp cars lol.
My 4 year old calls our Monte the beast car because of the Taz sticker and because it's a bit louder cause of the hole on the resonator. So ya, first mod will be the exhaust. It's the original exhaust and with our winters and the salts they use on our roads I guess after 10 years it was about time something would happen.
