The squealing at start up might be a belt thant needs to be replaced or thigtened.

 

or possibly the starter going... although, doubtful. Id get her checked up, run the sea foam on it, then start doing work on it if you need it. I wouldnt start thinking about major engine work on it till you get it tuned!
