i started taking the trim off and sanding down to the bare metal.i have a few rust spots but not to bad.the fenders are bang up,so i have alot of work to do to them.i got a set of chevelle buckets and console for it.i ordered a set of moser axles and rear diff cover for it.

Nice car, welcome! My Dad had a 72 with a 454 bored to 472. That thing was a beast. Sadly he sold it a year ago.

well i started to order parts for it.then i got a deal on a 71'monte carlo.that is rust free. the 71'was pull off from the frame and the frame was strip and painted.new body mounts.new sheet metal on it.it is just a shell,but it is in better shape then mine.also i'am getting a tko 5 speed set up for my car.

Hi, i also just joined and have a 72 , just ordered a suspention kit from UMI performance. good luck on your build .

let me know how you like the suspension kit from them.also i have small parts for the monte if you need a part.

Welcome to the forum, your fun has just begun I am in my second year of restoration on my 1974 Monte Carlo and I am finally starting to put parts back on and get it painted. I also want to have it finished by end of spring or first part of Summer would like to do the Hotrod power tour again welcome to the forum.
